Summary - Interreligious & Intercultural Understanding Panel

Tom Banchoff preceded this panel, which focused on West/Islamic Relations and the impact of interreligious and intercultural issues on national competitiveness and foreign policy.

John J. DeGioia, Dean Jane McAuliffe, Sadiq Al-Mahdi, and Shlomo Ben-Amin formed the rest of panel and gave to it an extraordinary diversity of opinions and solutions to to various questions addressed.

They shared new concepts, such as Multilateral Religions. They talked about religious diversity, national secularism and dialogue. But all of them pointed to, clearly (in black and white), is Universal Values.
